First Mother's Day!

Hayden is now 7 weeks old - she'll be 8 weeks on Monday- wow, how time flies!! She is smiling and cooing and we think we witnessed her first laugh today- how cool! She is bringing so much joy to our lives. Everyday is so fun. I am able to get out and about a lot more with her also which has been awesome- we went to Valley Forge park yesterday (it was so pretty out) and walked the 5 mile loop and then ate lunch under a tree- some quality mother/daughter time to say the least. Today we went out to the new Philadelphia outlets- Hayden was not as happy today but she managed to shop for a few hours- it was again just nice to be outside.

We also celebrated our first mother's day together this past weekend and it was so special. We were actually camping for the weekend in Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay. It was really fun (a little chilly) but definitely a great time. We were with our friends Joan and Scott and our 2 campers- it was such a great set up on the water. We relaxed a lot and managed to eat lots of yummy food, enjoy some beverages and scenery, and even play a game of texas hold em poker (and yes, Mommy won!! and no, it wasn't fixed for mother's day!). To top it off, Hayden and Zoey (well Chris) surprised me with a beautiful necklace with Hayden's birth stone, how sweet!!! We also got ice cream- my only request for the day. :)

All the girls...I think I've finally mastered walking Zoey with Hayden in her Baby Bjorn...she loves hanging out in it...and it's a lot easier than pushing a stroller with a pulling dog at your side!

Hayden's First Camping Trip

Hayden enjoyed her first official camping trip a few weekends ago. Since we now have the camper it is sort of "fake camping" but still so much fun. We enjoyed a beautiful weekend, yummy food, and peaceful nature. The camper is awesome and Zoey made sure to test out all three beds- she loved it and Hayden was such a trooper and slept great so Mommy and Daddy could hang outside and enjoy a camp fire and smores. We are actually headed to the Chesapeake this weekend for some more camping. She will be a pro before she even knows what camping is! :)

Hayden is now 6 weeks old (officially tomorrow) and is doing great. She is smiling a ton and is so alert. She is even sleeping through the night- which is a new thing in the past few days- she slept 7 hours last night- Mommy and Daddy were so surprised but very happy. She is pretty awake throughout the day and is just so fun to talk to and hang out with. We love her so much and love seeing her change every day.

Hayden's First 2 Weeks at Home

It is so great having Hayden home and seeing how much she changes from day to day. She is still a little peanut but is gaining weight and eating well. She gets really fussy right before bed time but hopefully that will get better and better. She is sleeping pretty well so we can't complain. Zoey seems to love her new little sister- I think she is still getting used to the crying but she definitely seems to like her. Here are some photos from the past week...

Welcome Hayden Makenzie Nagy!!!

Our little bundle of joy- Hayden Makenzie Nagy- finally decided to join the world on Monday, March 24th at 10:44am. Mommy and Daddy are so over joyed and so in love. We were very happy that Mommy did not have to get induced which was scheduled- she decided to come on her own time and beat inducement by one day!

Everyone is doing well, just getting adjusted to the craziness of having a newborn- but every moment is so worth it. She is such a doll.... :)

Donde Esta Baby Nagy?

41 Weeks today- Baby Nagy is late! Now that the due date (the 14th) has come and gone by almost a full week, we are realizing that she will come when she is ready. I had a doctor's appt. Monday morning and not much is happening- they had me do a non-stress test and everything seemed great with the baby so we wait...

The doctor said they will likely induce Monday night so Baby Nagy will probably be here Monday night/Tuesday morning if not before then. We'll keep everyone posted but for now we are just in waiting mode. I have been working at home this past week which has been nice. Just very ready for the Baby to make her grand entrance.

Zoey is also waiting patiently- she follows me around the house- in this photo she is on neighborhood watch- she loves to lay by the door and see what is going on down Finch Run.

The Nagy's Newest Toy...

Somehow Chris convinced me it was a good idea to buy a camper (must have been a weak pregnancy moment) :) and so here is our latest purchase to enjoy this summer and hopefully many summers and Penn State trips to come...
We bought this great new camper a couple weeks ago and we are very excited to take Baby Nagy on her first camping trip this summer. It is really nice and sleeps 9 (although a little tightly). It has 3 queen beds and the dinette turns into a bed and there is a couch. There is also a kitchenette, bathroom, outside speakers, etc.

We love to camp and figured with a baby the days of tent camping are a little trickier. We will now be spoiled but plan on many trips on rivers of PA with our friends and camping buddies. Thanks to Joan and Scott for the inspiration to buy a camper- they have one also and we have loved staying with them. Hopefully we can convince many friends to join us, despite the newborn and 75 pound dog we will have with us. :)

The countdown is on, less than a week until due date, but who knows when Baby Nagy will actually decide to join the world. I go back and forth between thinking it will be very soon to thinking she will be late. We shall see...

Congratulations to Rachel & Steve Ringold who welcomed their baby boy Ethan Shia Ringold into the world on Monday, March 3rd. Congratulations also to our cousins Tina and Jarad Haupt who welcomed their 2nd baby boy Logan Koehler Haupt into the world on Saturday, March 8th.

We are so so happy for them!!!
